Q&A:  How Well Do You Know Your Fellow Club Member Becky Law??

What are your favorite places you have visited?

-Hawaii (5 times; 1 week each time), Alaska, Ireland, Mexico, Island of St.Maarten,  Caribbean, Washington DC, California, Florida + 24 other states.

Have you ever won an award for anything, and if so, for what?

-Served as "1st woman" president of Lion's Club.  I was the 2nd person in the state of Texas to receive my dual "ACSR" Accredited Customer Service Representative for commercial insurance and personal insurance.  Both were a big honor to me.

What's one of your pet peeves?

-When a driver parks 12 spaces back when there is a parking space 3 spaces from the door at a store.

If you could be doing a different line of work than you are doing now, what would you want to be doing?

-I would be a hostess on a TV show that travels the world…..sharing my life adventures on the show.  Like Samantha Brown did.

Share a funny incident in your life.

-My husband and I went to Wal-Mart to shop.  I had lost a little weight, so when I stood up to get out of the car, my shorts fell to the ground.  After I scrambled to pull them up, I sat back down in the car to go home to change.  Not sure if anyone saw it, but I'll bet the parking lot cameras picked it up.

What are a few of your favorite movies?

-Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, anything with Kevin Costner or Richard Gere are in.

What would a perfect day or afternoon or evening look like for you?

-Take a ride in a hot air balloon, parasail over clear blue waters, and then take a dinner cruise on a on a beautiful island paradise.

If you were mayor for a day, what are a couple of things you'd change about your city?

-Add a zip code to Wake Village.  It always gets confusing when you are giving someone your address on the phone as it shows the same as "Texarkana".  I would also lower taxes, of course.

How are your living room and kitchen decorated?

-I have a plaque that says, "What happens at Grandma's, stays at Grandma's", pictures of my kids and grandkids, a Thomas Kincaid picture, and lots of "art" on the refrigerator that grandkids made for me.

Is there something you'd like to share about yourself that you think most other people may not know?

-I love, love, love being a grandma.  My 4 grandkids bring me so much joy and makes my life very special.

Travel is what life is all about, and I would travel as much as I could afford.

-I pride myself with the "deals" or "bargains" I find.  Would you consider a condo in Hawaii for $400 for the whole week (not daily) a bargain?
