Rotary seeks the man, the man does not seek Rotary!!! Membership in a Rotary Club is by invitation only and is on the basis of one representative of each business and profession.

Procedure for proposing a new member:

  1. Propose the prospective new member to the Club Membership Committee or Board of Directors
  2. The Membership and Classification Committee will review the applicant's qualifications and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
  3. If the Board approves, the prospect's name will be submitted to the Club.
  4. If no written objection is received by the club within a 7-day period, the prospective member is considered to be elected to membership.

It is best not to advise a prospect of your intentions to propose him or her to Rotary, until after the application process is completed.
